Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMK00804B, AWR2243
Sorry for jumping back to the post that you were helping with 3 years ago. But we are currently using MMWCAS RF+DSP EVM to do sensor fusion as well.
We are working on something simliar that require radar to do timestamp syncing with external sensor, In a both post-processing senario as well as run-time scenario. And in our application we only allows for less than 50us of uncertainty.
Regarding the post, you mentioned that "In hardware triggered mode, an external frame sync signal (3.3V buffer generated) can be input into the LMK00804B (U8) and that is fanned out to the master device and other slave devices. ", On top of that, you also mentioned that "R142, 0-ohm resistor would need to be installed and R143, 0-ohm resistor would need to be removed. That is all. "
My confusion is that, does this external frame sync signal needs to be hardwired directly on LMK00804B? If so, how should I hardwire it to LMK?
If not, then I suppose DSP is able to send this frame sync signal to LMK directly then? Which cause a hardware trigger right?
Thanks in advanced!
