mmwave_studio was unable to read the FPGA version.
Changes that I tried and finally fixed the problem:
1- Use mmwave_studio 2.0.0.2 instead of 2.1
2- Disable the Firewall
3- Make sure the Ethernet adapter is Gigabit Ethernet and the IP is static 192.168.33.30
4- The radar board must have the switch or jumpers configured for "debug" mode
5- The DCA1000EVM must have SW2 = 01101100
Then I tried the "Set up DCA1000" and I was able to see the FPGA version
