AWR2944EVM: Customizable chirps

Part Number: AWR2944EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AWR2944,

Hi,

I was wondering how customizable are the chirps in the advanced configuration mode?

1)I was wondering if its possible to configure each chirp to have a different frequency slope. For example, can i have one chirp configuration where it has a slope of 100 MHz/µs to detect an object at 22.5 m where the IF is 15 and another separate chirp which has a slope of 75 MHz/µs and a range of 30 m. Is this possible by using two profileCfg parameters with different slopes or am i able to do this by making the sub frames smaller?

2) is there a way to change a parameter in the configuration files mid run if a condition is met, like a if statement?

3) How are the C++ files, such as the MSS_main.c, used when using the mmwave visualizer if they are used at all.

4) are there any known software limitations on this particular device, such as limiting the number of burst per subframe to 1, which i seen in another thread. If so how do i go about removing the limitations.

Thank you, hope you can help.

Sam
