IWR6843AOPEVM: Vital Sign Demo/LAB

Hi Fahad,

I am happy you found a way to parse into an excel file. For the 68xx vital signs lab there is one sample sent every frame, for the Vital Signs with People Tracking lab there is one sample sent every 15 frames. The frame rate is configurable in the .cfg file which is sent to the device. It is fifth number on the framecfg line and it is in units of milliseconds.

Thank you for the quick response. 

But I found that for 68xx vital sign lab .cfg file "frameCfg 0 0 2 0 50 1 0" which means that the current frame rate is 20 Hz, which is equivalent to a frame period of 50 milliseconds. How it is one sample sent to every frame? 

Q2) Why I am getting duplicates values?

What do you mean by how is one sample sent every frame?

As for the duplicate values, There could be multiple frames where it detects the same HR or BR from the person.

You told me like this in the above thread. I'm asking and because the radar sample rate is 20Hz for vital sign or 20 frame per second.

How we can remove them.

I have one more question can we used DCA1000 for LAB/demo? for saving raw data.

Hi Fahad,

You would have to open the source code in CCS and change the functionality of the lab to stop duplicates from being sent out. This would be complicated. I would instead advise you to add logic to the code you are using to parse the data output to only save the data output if it is not a duplicate. 

Our labs do not have LVDS support, therefore the DCA1000 cannot be used for the vital signs lab.

So it is possible to collect vital sign raw data through DCA1000?

I cannot write source code for you. You cannot collect raw vital signs data through the DCA1000.
