DCA1000EVM: Problems getting 3 simultaneous TX's working on DCA1000EVM with AWR1243BOOST

Part Number: DCA1000EVM

Hi All,

I'm trying to get 3 simultaneous transmitters working on a setup we have with a DCA1000EVM connected to an AWR1243BOOST using mmWaveStudio. Everything works fine when we use 2 simultaneous transmitters however when I try and enable the third in the chirp config I get the error message: Status: Failed, Error Type: CHIRP_TX_EN > MAXIMUM SIMULTANEOUS TX ALLOWED AS PER DEVICE DATA SHEET.

I think this chip should support 3 simultaneous transmitters as the model number indicates this, however I can't seem to get it to work. I've made sure that I've enabled all 3 TX's in the StaticConfig tab. I have also attached the full log file to this post just in case there's any clue in there as to why it might not be working.

Also, assuming that this is a misconfiguration on my part, is there any documentation/detailed guide as to how to operate all the switches and settings do and what combinations they should be set to for differing configurations?

Thanks

Chris
