AWR6843AOP: How to validate embedded output with Matlab reference code in case of awr6843aop

1. Are you asking if there is a way to send information from matlab to the device? If this is the case, can you please share what type of information you are trying to send?

2. What type of reference output and embedded output do you mean?

1. Yes Angie. Passing raw data collected from radar using matlab (Radar front end ) to directly to Range FFT input 

2.Reference output is Matlab reference Range FFT output

1. This is not supported, data of this size cannot be sent to the device. However, the processing chain for this device is performing a Range FFT on the device -- what exactly are you trying to validate?

2. I would recommend comparing your Range FFT output from the device to the Range FFT output on matlab. To get start I would recommend starting with our understanding UART TLV output guide.

1. Actually, we have own property code that's written in Matlab for range FFT and that need to be compared with awr6843aop (VOD application) Range FFT output and question is how we feed common input for both.

Also, Have you taken a look at the source code for the AWR6843 High Accuracy VOD lab?

Hi, Sunil:

As Angie mentioned, we do not have a way to feed common input for both.  For rangeFFT, you can use CCS debug, set a break point, dump the data to a file, and read that file from MATLAB to check the results.
