Hi Radar Team

Can you please let us know why L6432BOOST EVM was designed with 8-lyaers?

A customer asked if there's specific reason for 8 layers design choosen since their PCB cost would be also increased.

They consider to reduce layers to reduce PCB cost if the Radar perforamnce would be similar.

Hi,

The L6432BOOST EVM was designed with 8 layers as it supports the mmwave sensing capabilities as well as the debug utility interfaces such as XDS & JTAG. The number of layers can be reduced to 6 with similar performance but beyond that the trade offs need to be looked at.
