Posting on behalf of my customer:
I had purchased a LMT70EVM evaluation kit and did some test. The signal noise seems very high, the demo software is using running average to reduce the noise which lowered the response time of the sensor.
I had broke away the sensor from the USB dongle and used shielded wiring to reduce the noise.
Is there any better way to reduce the noise?
I wish to know the communication protocol of the USB dongle of the evaluation kit so that I can create a software to compare the temperature readout from LMT70 with another digital thermometer in real time to find out:
- If the accuracy of LMT70 is the same with the calibrate thermometer
- What is the temperature response curve of LMT70 compared with the digital thermometer.
