First, is there any difference besides the transmission power between the 43 and 43AOP?
The biggest difference here is in the antenna design. IWR6843 will require standard antenna on PCB. The IWR6843AOP is "antenna on package" this means the antenna is already integrated with the package itself. We also have a few EVMs with different antenna designs which affect the FOV. You can find more info about each of the antennas on our EVMs in this guide.
And what is the maximum density and personnel the sensor can handle?
Can you elaborate here? I'm not quite sure what information you are looking for.
can the chip be connected to a communication protocol like Zigbee and can it be already bought onboard or does it need extra assembly on my side?
If you are referring to the EVMs then yes additional hardware will be required. You should be able to connect to something like the LAUNCHXL-CC1352R1 for Zigbee communication. Keep in mind for IWR6843ISK or IWR6843AOP EVM the mmWave ICBOOST carrier board will also be required in order to connect to the CC1352R LaunchPad.

Here is the customer's feedback below.
Your answers did help me out a lot and I could answer the second question by myself. But I stumbled upon some questions during my research.
I was looking through the different antenna designs in the guide you send me and it got me a bit confused.
The FoV on the guide page and on their respective site is different. For E.g. IWRL6432BOOST guide: 60°/60° FoV and on the overview page on ti.com it is 120°/80° FoV.

Sorry for the confusion. 120° Azimuth and 80° Elevation FoV is correct for IWRL6432BOOST. Could you please point out where you see 60°/60° FoV so that we can have it fixed? On the Antennas Overview page which I linked I see +- 60 and +- 40.
