Josh,
Thank you for your reply.
I do not have any specific target environments I am thinking around now.
However, I would simply like to know if TDC3020 can be used at only 1 atm or not.
Or, TDC3020 datasheet HR accuracy spec is only valid at 1 atm or not.
For example, TDC3020 might be used at altitude 2000m, then atmospheric pressure and boiling point are different from at 1 atm, but TDC3020 HR accuracy is still valid?
If users need some consideration to correct or adjust it depending on atmospheric pressure, temperature and so on, please let me know it as just a rule of thumb
Best regards,
K.Hirano
Hi K.Hirano,
The HDC3020 is tested and characterized at 1 atm so the datasheet accuracy spec is valid at 1 atm. Unfortunately, this is the only pressure level that is tested, so you or customer will have to characterize the device for any environment that has a higher pressure. Typically, raising the pressure will cause the %RH to lower, but that is something that will have to be characterized.
Hope this helps,
Rooshi
