Hi Danilo,
In our user's guides the supported devices are listed. These are the only devices the example code works with. The labs for vital sign detection and gesture recognition do not work with the IWRL6432BOOST.
thank you,
Angie
Hi Angie,
Thank you for your swift response. Page 2 of the User's Guide of IWRL6432BOOST stated that it supports vital sign applications. Can you please share the User's Guide that you are referring to?

Hi Danilo,
This means that the IWRL6432BOOST can be used for vital signs applications but does not mean that TI provides source code for this specific application. The radar data can be processed either on the device's M4 or on a PC to gather vital signs information.
Thanks,
Angie
Hi Angie,
Please see the feedback of our customer below.
if that's the case then can I can exchange my device to the listed one? As I bought the device specifically to work on that example project since it was mentioned in the radar toolbox.
Can we replace the IWRL6432BOOST with one of the mmWave boards mentioned at page 29 of the Developer's Guide in the link below?
Regards,
Danilo
Hi Danilo,
When purchasing our EVMs example code to work with the EVMs for specific end equipments is not guaranteed. At the time of purchase the customer could have looked at these labs and seen that the EVM they were purchases was not supported.
There is still an SDK to get this EVM up and running and we have had many customers get started on people counting and vital signs applications without the example code. Just because TI has not written example code yet does not mean it is not possible for customers to develop solutions for these applications on their own.
Thanks,
Angie
