TMP006 and CCS compiler

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMP006, MSP430F4132

Is there any library about the TMP006 temperature sensor for CCS?

Thanks!

  • Hello Matheus,

Thank you for your interest in the TMP006. I know that one of our contractors has converted some TMP006 demo board code from IAR to CCS, so let me track that down to share with you.

Side note: Nice PC! Have you experimented with your overclock to see how far your hex-core Phenom could be pushed with air cooling only? My PC's components are a few years old (Intel Q9550, GTX 260, 2x2GB DDR2) so I'm very tempted to upgrade, but I think I'll wait until the new generation of Radeon GPUs comes out.

    Best regards,

    Ian Williams

  • Hello again Matheus,

I have attached the CCS code for our TMP006 demo which interfaces with the MSP430F4132 and a 7-segment LCD display. As of now, this is the only TMP006 code in CCS that we have available, but it should serve as a decent starting point.

    Best regards,
    - Ian

  • Thanks man!! i will look this source code and see if can help me. I think it will!

[off-topic]Well, i just bought this computer.....here in Brazil, the hardware parts are really expensive!!!! So I can not afford a 1155 sand bridge PC.

So, the highest stable clock I got, was this one:

    This one was partially stable:

All that with air cooler. First i used a Thermaltake V1 AX and now I am using a Thermaltake Frío that is a lot better!

So you can see a slidshow with mypc here: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v222/ahhh/my_computer/?albumview=slideshow
