Hi,

We are planning to use AWR2243BOOST in a device to monitor the area around building. 

Is it possible to use AWR2243BOOST without any additional software and hardware tools in order to detect vehicle at 200-300 meters and to indicate this detection to an operator with electrical signal ? 

If there is a need for additional software or hardware, could you, please, inform us what we need as a final kit ?

    Hi Dimitar,

    The AWR2243BOOST board is only a front-end evaluation module. You would need to use it along with the DCA1000EVM board (hardware) and the mmWave studio (Software) to capture raw data and test the functionality of the AWR2243. For an actual usecase, you would need to pair the same with a host processor (such as an am273x) that can perform the processing of the radar data and provide you with the detections.
