TMP1075: How to connect the exposed pad of TMP1075DSGR

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

I want to use the TMP1075 in the WSON package with exposed pad.

Unfortunately I cannot find any information about how to connect the exposed pad of this part .

Do I have to connect it to GND or shall I leave it unconnected?

    Hello Michael,

    The exposed pad can be connected to ground or left floating.  Typically, when performing a measurement of a heat source, a GND plane is used for coupling to the heat source as shown below.  If you are performing ambient measurements, it would be okay to leave it floating so you are not influenced by other heat sources.
