Hello team, my customer is using the TMP75-Q1 and would like to understand the timing between the temperature crossing the threshold and the output on the Alert pin.  Thanks for your help.

    Hi Will,

    The ALERT pin output is triggered when a temperature conversion completes that equals or exceeds/falls below the values in the Thigh/Tlow registers, as described in section 7.4.3 of the datasheet. Therefore, conversion time will impact this, which is dependent upon the converter resolution bits. For example, if the temperature threshold is crossed, but a temperature conversion doesn't happen for another 220ms, the ALERT pin won't be updated until that temperature conversion is complete.

    See also section 7.5.3.2 of the datasheet to set the number of consecutive fault conditions required to generate an ALERT.
