For bed monitoring, we are already developing using TI 6843AOP, but for monitoring the back of the human body, which is similar to a sofa application, we are not yet sure if there is a suitable chip and solution available

    Hi,

    Yes, the TI solutions for vital signs detection with mmWave Radar work best from the front or the back of a person. Placing radar in the back of a sofa level with a person's chest should work with our vital signs algorithms.
