AWR1443BOOST: DCA1000

Part Number: AWR1443BOOST

Hi Team,

The customer uses DCA1000 and mmWave Studio to collect complex raw data. Customer would like to know:

1. Are there magnitude and phase mismatches between the real and imaginary parts?

2. Is there any need for compensation before doing the FFT operation?

Best regards,

Annie

  • Hi Annie,

    1. Are there magnitude and phase mismatches between the real and imaginary parts?
I am not able to understand this question. Complex number with a given mag and phase will be represented by its respective real and imaginary parts. What mismatch are you referring to here?
    2. Is there any need for compensation before doing the FFT operation?
Which FFT operation is this (Range, Doppler, Angle etc.)? What kind of compensation are you looking at?

    Regards,

    Kaushik
