LM63: How to use to boards with one computer

Hello E2E Experts,

Good day.

Using this E2E post for reference: (+) LM63: Technical inquiry - Sensors forum - Sensors - TI E2E support forums,

Is it possible to run two instances of the software on one computer? I have 8 fan modules that I need to run simultaneously.

Here is our portfolio of fan controllers: https://www.ti.com/sensors/temperature-sensors/products.html#2192=PWM%20output&

LM96000 has the most fan channels at 3. There is not an 8 channel product.

Okay, thanks but I am not looking for a temperature sensor I am looking for a PWM controller. Will using a PWM splitter cable work on these evaluation boards?

In theory, one PWM output can be connected to multiple fans, but you'll need to verify that what you have can support the load of your fans. There should be a discrete FET driver circuit on your board; the fan controller ICs cannot power a fan directly.
