Is there a chart available to compare the angular resolution capabilities of the various systems available?
We don't have any readily available chart for this feature but you can achieve best angular resolution with cascade system using mmwave sensor (AWR2243) [higher virtual channel].
What is the usecase your are looking for?

We are looking into radar imagery development. I was unable to find the angular resolution of the sensor in the available documentation. Do you know what the capability is?
Hi George,
The angular resolution can be defined by (2/N) where N is the number of virtual antenna channels in a given plane.
The AWR2243 (single chip) with 12 virtual antennae has an angular resolution of 15 degrees in the azimuth plane and 30 degrees in elevation plane (when using 8 virtual antennae for azim and 4 for elev).
The 4-chip cascaded AWR2243 TI design can achieve an angular resolution of upto 1.4 degrees.
Would suggest you go through the following document.
Imaging Radar Using Cascaded mmWave Sensor Reference Design (Rev. A) (ti.com)
