Hi ,

For development purpose we are looking for a TI chipset with better accuracy, please tell me the AWR1642Boost angular accuracy, and our application is for obstacle avoidance, is there any recommendation of any chipset for better accuracy. So, we can start R&D on it.

    Hello Saket,

    The angular accuracy depends on factors like the SNR of the reflected signal (which depends on the RCS of the object, distance of the object, etc.) , mismatches between the channels , the processing algorithms you use etc. We would recommend you use the AWR2944 EVM , this device has the best Rf performance and more number of channels. Also ensure you calibrate out the gain and phase mismatches across the channels to get the best angular accuracy.
