AWR1642BOOST: Measure speed breaker or pot hole

Part Number: AWR1642BOOST

Hi Team,

I understand from the E2E thread below that it is very challenging to measure road deterioration, pot holes and speed bumps. Our customer would like to know what will be the basis to classify objects?

  • Hi Danilo,

You can use different features of the detected objects such as the SNR, fit of the high-resolution 3D point spread (Insufficient virtual antenna channels to achieve this on the AWR1642BOOST), average object cluster distance, etc. Please note that performing classifications of potholes and speed breakers is a difficult task as discussed earlier. Let me know if this answered your question or if further support is required.
