I am getting the below error

Hi,

Try restarting Uniflash as well, and make sure your device is in the correct flashing mode.

I have tried in the Ubuntu 18.04 version.

I restarted the uniflash too and have ensured that it is in correct flashing mode.

But no luck.

It is working correctly in WIndows, but not in Ubuntu

Hi,

Does using windows suffice for your application? If so, I would continue to just use windows to flash. I'm not aware of any known issues using Uniflash on Ubuntu. Can you send a screenshot of the "Settings and Utilities" tab of Uniflash when you are trying to flash?

I need to use Linux only for flashing.

The "Settings and Utilities" tab screenshot is given below:

We can confirm from the below image, that the port is available

I have tried with both USB0 and USB1

Hi,

Can you double check that you can connect to the port using another program? Also make sure the port is not being used by another program, and that the device is still in flashing mode.

Can you also try downloading the offline version of Uniflash instead of using the online one?

Can you give the workflow, for starting the offline version.

I tried offline one, but it was unable to launch.

FYI, the boost board is working fine, it's getting detected as ACM0 and ACM 1, while for other like this board it is getting detecting as USB0 and USB1.

I tried with multiple board which getting detected as USB0, aren't working.

Which boost board are you describing?

The offline version can be downloaded from here: https://www.ti.com/tool/UNIFLASH.

It looks like the device getting recognized as USB0 and USB1 may be the issue. You may need to install a different driver to get them recognized as ACM0/1, or use a different Linux distribution.

Awr1642Boost, worked fine for me.

How to install a different driver for other board, like IWR6843ISK.

Doesn't installing mmwave-sdk will do all necessary installation?

What you mean by different Linux distribution?

In the release notes, it is said, only Ubuntu 18 is supported.

Can you find what version of Ubuntu you are running?

Have you tried connecting to the port with another terminal emulator program such as TeraTerm to see if you can communicate with the device without Uniflash?
