IWR6843ISK: Performance issue

Hi,

In my MATLAB workflow, I performed data acquisition from a radar system on both Windows and Ubuntu. Surprisingly, there was a noticeable difference in performance between the two platforms.

To be more specific, it took approximately 52 seconds on Ubuntu and only 33 seconds on Windows to complete the data acquisition process for 1000 data points.

If you have any suggestions or insights on why there might be such a performance disparity between Windows and Ubuntu, please let me know.

I would greatly appreciate any guidance or advice you can provide.

    Hi Aditya,

    Can you give me some more insight as to how you were acquiring data from the radar device? Did you have a MATLAB script to read data from the DATA COM port, or did you have another means of collecting the data?

    I suspect this just might be an issue of different operating systems/different computers having differing processing times.
