IWR1443: Two board synchronization without high frequency cables

Part Number: IWR1443
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AWR1243

Hi Experts,

I have a customer asking for an inquiry regarding the IWR1443 board. Your response is highly appreciated. Thank you.

We are trying to synchronize two IWR1443 boards without High frequency cables.
From post:
e2e.ti.com/.../iwr1443-cascade-20-ghz-sync-support
and
e2e.ti.com/.../iwr1443-iwr1443-cascading
It seems IWR1443 does not support cascade mode. The HW trigger on both radar units is working but is not enought (it provides only the starting chirp synchroninzation signal). We would like to have a coherent measure, using one unit for transmission and the other for receiving.
But this diagram gives me hope:
(see attachment, Resource: swrs211c- > Figure 6-2. Clock Subsystem)
What does Timing Engine do with SYNCIN signal? I could not really find any detailed documents for Timing Engine. Can I configure Timing Engine to compensate the difference of clocks (LO) used for RX TX?
( I don’t want to calibrate the phase offset manually everytime turn on two boards)
