LDC1101: Effects of magnets and solenoids

Hello team,

I received a question from the customer.

The customer wants to use the LDC1101 in an environment where magnets or solenoids are nearby. In such a case, I think it is necessary to shield the area around the sensor coil to exclude the influence of magnetic force. Do you have any application notes regarding the above?

Masakazu,

No shielding from the magnets will be needed if they are stationary and a fixed value.
The solenoids may cause some random noise and interference, so some shielding from those may be needed.
