The antenna performance of the IWR1843BOOST is supposed to be equivalent to the IWR1443BOOST, but it is equivalent to the IWR1642BOOST in the link here:

The antenna performance of the IWR1843BOOST is equivalent to IWR1642BOOST, is that not correct?

Is the antenna performance of the IWR1843BOOST equivalent to the IWR1443BOOST?

Hi Daisuke,

Along with the link you provided, you can reference the table here: Antenna Radiation Patterns.

The antenna performance will not be equivalent between the IWR1843BOOST and IWR1642BOOST since the IWR1843BOOST has 4Rx-3Tx and the IWR1642BOOST only has 4Rx-2Tx. Because the latter only has Tx, there is no elevation information from the IWR1642BOOST antenna pattern. The extra Tx on the IWR1843BOOST will improve signal strength and resolution as well.

The antenna performance of the IWR1843BOOST should be nearly equivalent to the IWR1443BOOST.
