AWR2944: How to compensate for the Rx-Rx gain variation?

Part Number: AWR2944

Hi Experts

in SDK 4.4, we are using DPC_ObjDet_RxChPhaseMeasure to measure the phase difference across RX channels and then compensate for these minor phase variations caused by antenna routing.

Why do we not compensate for the Rx Gain difference across RX channels caused by antenna routing?

Thanks

Ken

  • Hello Ken,

For gain mismatch on the system due to board traces and routing, The DPC provides the ability to do the measurement and compensation.

In the mmwave sdk userguide, please refer to the 'Range Bias (TDM Demo) and Rx Channel Gain/Offset Measurement and Compensation' section.
