PGA970: Waveform Generation

Good day, I would like to inquire about the PGA970EVM as shown below:

1. To activate the AC Signal in the primary side, the Waveform Generation was configured but only when the Modulator Clock is set to "Not Reset" will AC be generated. Is there an explanation for the correlation between the Modulator Clock which is setting on the ADC (secondary side) that has to do with Waveform Generation which is setting on the primary side?

2. Can you provide a detailed block diagram and schematic of the waveform generation on the primary side that also details all the configured setting as shown in the GUI?

Hi Thevindra,

I'm surprised to see there's a dependency on those clocks within the device. As you said, I don't see anything in the datasheet about it. Logically, there's no reason, from the device design perspective, of using the waveform generator if the ADCs (specifically, the modulator sampling) are not available to capture the result. I'll see if I can kind any more information on this.
