Do you know is it possible to use AWR1443BOOST and Jetson Nano to capture and save data? If it is possible, could you please also offer me some information or guideline of achieving it.

Hello Xinyuan,

It depends on what you want to achieve.
If you want to process the Raw ADC data on the jetson Nano, then this is not possible because by default the Jetson Nano does not support LVDS interface.
What data do you want to capture? Point cloud data?

Thank you for your reply!

I want to capture raw ADC or Range-angle-Doppler data. After capturing the data, directly send to my computer and use my computer for processing them. After training the model on my computer, I will deployment model back to Jetson Nano.

If Jetson Nano cannot achieve this, could you please advise me other hardwares to replace Jetson Nano? Maybe like Raspberry Pi or Farnell DFR0982 (link: https://uk.farnell.com/dfrobot/dfr0982/lattepanda-3-delta-board-2ghz/dp/3954474?gcli[…]NC-GUK-GEN-SHOPPING-PMAX-Medium_ROAS-Test990&gross_price=true)?

Hello Xinyuan,

Any hardware that has a compatible LVDS lanes should be fine. Like the AM273x should also be fine.

And do you know where should I start to capture some data with only AWR1443BOOST, like some guildeline on capturing data step by step or something? I do not have DCA1000EVM. Sorry that my question maybe a little bit too basic.

Hi Xinyuan,

So there is no direct guide for it.
You will have to use the application for CSI2 streaming in SDK for the AWR1443.
Similarly you will have to look at the AM273x CSI2 receiver function and then process as required.
And forgot to mention AM273 does not have the LVDS but rather the CSI2 which can be utilized. Other than the DCA1000 EVM I am not aware of anything that has LVDS reception.

May I ask what is LVDS lanes or LVDS reception? Since I also want to check whether the available hardwares in the lab have it.
