hi,

I’v to connect 8 TMAG5170Q1 parts with one SPI interface and 8 pins for each chip’s CS pin. Now, I cannot get correct data from these sensor chips. Is it possible to connect 8 sensor chips to the same SPI port?

Hi Sunglin,

The following design had four TMAG5170 sensors actually connected on the same SPI bus without any issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCjGLxW-3LA

Can you try lowering the communication speed to see if it makes a difference? Also, can you try incrementally increasing the number of sensors connected by one to see at what point do you have an issue?
