TMAG5273: Standard 3-Byte I2C Read

Part Number: TMAG5273

Hi, Experts,

For Standard 3-Byte I2C Read, if the value what we want to read changes continuously, Can we read the latest value? Will any wrong issue happen in this case?

  • Hello Dillen,

Thanks for posting to the sensing forum! Yes if you are in continuous mode you should be able to continuously read the latest value without any issues the device will give you the last measurement. We do have an update rate from the time it takes to take a measurement and store the result so I would recommend providing at least that time in between reads so that the device has at least enough time to complete 1 measurement cycle.

Other modes like Stand-by Mode a measurement can be commanded to make a measurement using an I2C command or the INT pin.

    I hope this helps!

    Best,

    Isaac
