Hi TI service team,

I have one question about TMP75/TMP175 temperature sensor accuracy (operation temperature: -25 degree to 85 degree, specification need within +/-2 degree) like below.

We have calibrated our thermocouple measurement devices, and it still shows this deviation (> 2 degree).

Is it correct with your electrical characteristics which is described in datasheet ?

Hello,

The temperature accuracy shown in the datasheet is the guaranteed maximum accuracy of the device. How are you validating the temperature readings from TMP75/TMP175? Can you specify what Thermal Recorder you are referring to, and what is the accuracy specification for this device?

Have you considered using TMP1075 for your design? This device is Pin to Pin and software compatible part that can be up to 4 times lower power!
