The IC package (DSC S-PWSON-N10) has an exposed center pad, but the datasheet, aside from not providing a drawing of the package (solved by finding a different IC with the same package), doesn't say anything about the center pad. Is it connected to any of the signals? Am I correct in believing that it gets soldered to the PCB regardless?
