OPT3007: does OPT3007 and OPT 3001 can use the same code?

Hi Team,

does OPT3007 and OPT3001 can use the same software code? if not what are the difference between OPT3007 and OPT3001.

    Hi Anderson,

    The OPT3007 has a fixed address of 0x45, while the OPT3001 address is configurable by the ADDR pin. With this taken into account, the devices are software compatible.

    The only other difference is that the OPT3007 comes in the PicoStar (6-pin) package and the OPT3001 is provided in the USON (6-pin) package. OPT3007 is a smaller device.
