PGA305EVM-034: questions during using PGA305EVM-034

Part Number: PGA305EVM-034

Hello，

One customer used PGA305A-EVM and has the below questions, please help to analyze:

1. COMBUF page, he only could read the PADC and TADC,DATA_OUT is always zero, why? 

2. During using Guild Calibration, it would appear the below error when generated parameters, but the pressure and temperature setting could finish at  ADC&DAC Calibration page.

3. At EEPROM Config-Digit page, when writing the calibration parameters, the read and written value are always different, why?

    Hi Kailyn,

    I have a couple of questions:

    1. How has the customer configured the jumpers on the EVM? Is the board configured for voltage mode or current mode?
    2. Which calibration file did the customer select when doing the guided calibration procedure? What values did they attempt to input during the calibration procedure?
    3. Can they share the EEPROM digital configuration settings (from the EEPROM Page)?

    A: Voltage mode. He changed the CRC value and could output data, but if he closed the calibration function, it would be affected output.

    2.Which calibration file did the customer select when doing the guided calibration procedure? What values did they attempt to input during the calibration procedure?

    3.Can they share the EEPROM digital configuration settings (from the EEPROM Page)?

    What do you mean by "closing the calibration function"?

    Let me address your questions from the original post:

    The calibration settings that you provided do not match the EEPROM you provided. When I load the EEPROM values provided, these are the corresponding analog and digital settings:

    When I manually input the analog and digital settings that the customer shared, I got this EEPROM file:

    Please ask the customer to try collecting data with this EEPROM file. Using these settings, I was able to see non-zero data on PADC, TADC, and DATA_OUT. When I use the EEPROM settings provided by the customer, I only see non-zero data on PADC and TADC, and I see only zeros on DATA_OUT.

    Initially, after manually entering the customer's calibration values, I see different values in the read and write column:

    But after I click the "Write" and "Read" buttons, the columns match:

    Can the customer try this as well?

    I'm not sure what the issue is here. I got the same error message as the customer when I did the guided calibration, but I was able to manually enter the values on the ADC & DAC Calibration page. I will need more time to consult with another member of my team.
