AWR2944: Demo Visualizer, why is the config menu different between TDM and DDM?

Champs,

He is using the Demo Visualizer with mmWave MCUPLUS SDK v4.04, AWR2944 EVM ES2.0.

The GUI menu of Demo Visualizer is different between TDM and DDM demo.

So,

* Can we know why there is not config menu (Scene, Plot selection) for the DDM demo?

* Is there plan of supporting the config menu for the DDM demo also?

Hello Hayden,

Which version of the visualizer you are using? Could you send that link as well?
Also visualizer supports both TDM and DDM.

Hi Saswat,

The version is 4.4.0 (link), and he can run the Demo Visualizer for AWR2944.

The question is about the difference of TDM mode and DDM mode.

(Scene, Plot Selection menu is shown only for TDM mode, not DDM mode.)

Hello Hayden,

This particular feature is not supported in the DDM chain currently only in the TDM. Customer will have to generate their own cfg file and send it over the serial port.
