IWR6843AOP: I can't connect 6843AOP and XDS110 (10pin).

Hello Guys

I built my circuit based on 6843AOPEVM(The pin configuration is identical to the 6843AOP with unused components removed.)

Due to the size of the board, I made a 10Pin JTAG configuration based on the link below.

The circuit configuration is as follows. For the 10-pin header of XDS110, the header provided at the time of purchase was used.

As a result of JTAG Test Connection using CCS, the following error occurs.

I've never made progress by changing the JTAG configuration, so it's hard to pinpoint the problem.

I have a hard time analyzing the problem. I need help.

Hello,

Could you please share the complete schematic, Boot mode pins (SOP lines) are not visible, TDO line is also one of the boot modes pin needs pullup/down as appropriate need to be asserted. Bootmode state should be asserted before any connections.

nReset, Warm reset, NERROR lines needs pull up. Please refer to EVM schematic for the reference.

Hello,

Thank you for sharing additional details on the schematic. Please follow Switch setting for the SOP lines as per EVM.

Schematic doesn't have power scheme.

Below is the power up scheme, Power, SOP, reset release need to follow below sequence. Also missing pull ups on the Warm reset and NERROR lines need to be connected.

Please review the missing part in my circuit diagram.

First of all, according to your advice, we will proceed with the pull-up on the WARM Reset and NERROR lines.

Please try adding the pull ups to see if that helps. Please also see the design checklist. https://www.ti.com/lit/zip/swrr161. Please note E2E will be down the rest of the week for mainenance.
