IWRL6432BOOST: Ambiguity in the detection range

Hi

I am using the low-power visualizer for the IWRL6432BOOST board.

I am using the presence detection cfg file in the app, but the detection points range doesn't seems to be correct.

My workflow:

Trying to move the board up and down in regard to the ceiling(which is at approx 5 m), but the detection is not changing as expected, with the correct range.

Please convey the possible reason for it.

  • Hello Aditya.

    I would first try using a more reflective surface as a target, such as corner reflector, and reducing CFAR threshold in the CFAR threshold configuration command.  Information on this command can be found in the L-SDK user guide.  In addition, you could try using the Industrial Visualizer to confirm if the range is being detected correctly and also have a better view of the point cloud in a 3D space.
