implement an active Radar transponder, or target simulator

Hi,

we are willing to implement an active transponder, i.e. a device that receives a Radar signal at mmWave (60GHz for example), amplify and transmit it back.

the more advanced option we want  is to add delay/code/doppler offset to the signal before it is retrnamitted.

can we implment this using one ot TI's mmWave sensors?

    Hello Dan,

    It would likely be very difficult due to the way TX and RX are mixed (see datasheet and Technical Reference Manual). It may be possible, but application development like this is outside the scope of our mmWave E2E support.
