Other Parts Discussed in Thread: IWR6843AOP
Hello
I couldn't find the dimensions of the 4 Rx, I know they are lambda/2 apart in both directions, however, the exact dimension (mm) of the antennas are still puzzling me.
Thank you.

Hello,
Here are the dimensions of the AOP EVM antenna array

Hello Tim
Thank you for your reply. I know the Rx antennas are separated lambda/2 apart. However, I would like to know the exact dimensions of the 4 Rx antenna elements. I am not sure how can I get the dimensions of the antennas from this figure, are the figures are scaled?
Thank you.
Hi,
Apologies I misunderstood your question.
You can faintly see the antenna pads in this picture below, You can try and use this image as an approximation. The files for the actual EVM would most likely also have the exact measurements. You can get them here:
Hello Tim,
Thank you.
Actually, I am creating a SAR radar system with the IWR6843AOP Rev G, to have precise cross-range resolution I need the full 3 dB beam divergence angle (degree) the Tx is creating at the target. How can I have that data? Is it possible to extract that data from the raw radiation pattern data of Tx-Rx of EVM? If yes, do I have the access to it? Or, could you please direct me to anything that can potentially help me with this issue?
Best,
Yahea
Hi Yahea,
Sorry for the delay, I am passing this thread to a member of our hardware team who will be able to better assist you.

Hi Yahea,
We don't have that data yet.
You can refer to the below link for measured radiation patterns of IWR6843AOP Antenna for Elevation and Azimuth.
If you need individual Tx & Rx radiation patterns, kindly refer to section 8.10 of the datasheet.
