Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH, IWR6843AOP
Hi Donjie Billy Hipolito.
Thanks for reply.
I have done binary loading many times. And compared the behavior between rev.F and rev. G.
Rev.F works fine. But rev. G did not work.
Please check if I did something wrong.
- IWR6843AOPEVM rev. G sw1, sw2, sw3 status : (SW1 : OFF, ON, OFF, OFF), (SW2 : OFF, ON, OFF, OFF), (SW3 : ON)
- Prepare to download to Uniflash cloud. : select device with IWR6843AOP
https://dev.ti.com/uniflash/#!/main/iwr6843AOP/Serial_Connection/Program/
- Set target binary : C:\ti\radar_toolbox_1_10_00_13\source\ti\examples\Area_Scanner\prebuilt_binaries\ area_scanner_68xx_demo_aop.bin
- Set com port : Use of the Enhanced Com port (in my case, COM23)
5. Click Load Image button.
- Checking the loading Image.
- Toggle switch 3 to OFF and Reconnecting the USB connector for reset
- Run the visualizer tool
C:\ti\radar_toolbox_1_10_00_13\tools\visualizers\Area_Scanner_GUI\area_scanner_visualizer.exe
- Set the visualizer tool
- Select CFG file : C:\ti\radar_toolbox_1_10_00_13\tools\visualizers\Area_Scanner_GUI\area_scanner_68xx_AOP.cfg
- Record Data save Directory : C:\ti\radar_toolbox_1_10_00_13\tools\visualizers\Area_Scanner_GUI
- Testing Connection.
- Setup Complete
As it is, it’s working fine in rev.F.
Is there a new version of the radar toolbox example project for rev.G?
I noticed in the area scanner documentation that it says it is available in rev F or later.
Please check if I have made any mistakes.
