LMT70: How to calibrate the LMT70?

Also - Could you tell us more about the end-application and whether the customer requires an analog output?

If the customer is open to a digital output device, TMP117 (0.1°C Accuracy) might be a good option to consider. It can achieve an accuracy of up to ±0.1°C across the temperature range of -20°C to 50°C without calibration and it also has integrated calibration features.

On the other hand since LMT70 is an analog output device, system calibration would require calibrating not only considering the temperature sensor IC but also the ADC used to measure its voltage output.

To be clear, calibration is not necessary to use our temperature sensors. Generally speaking, performing a production temperature calibration of the end equipment is not viable from a cost perspective. Let's make sure we understand the application and accuracy needed before going further.

Customer's customer want this info to do the supply chain tracking to realize the nist traceability.

Hi Ren,

     One more question, will the pressure affect the accuracy? Customer found that the error increasing from 0.1C to 0.3C after 1 night. Currently they didn't found any other clues about the accuracy degrading, except the scratch made by the PoGo probes and the metal lid, which will bring large pressure to LMT70A.
