AWR6843AOP: AWR6843AOP SPI communication fail with CC2642R1FTWRGZRQ1

Part Number: AWR6843AOP

AWR6843AOP SPI communication fail with CC2642R1FTWRGZRQ1, :CC2642R1FTWRGZRQ1 not receive SPI data from AWR6843AOP.

1.OK PCBA SPI Measure signal:

:

capture long time measure:

2.NG PCBA SPI Measure signal:

3.Following 1.&2. we not find have any difference between OK & NG PCBA SPI , but see MOSI have random signal. Please help provide the question.factor.

  • Hello,

I am happy to help. I am unsure what your issue is. You are trying to establish SPI communication between aAWR6843AOP and aCC2642R1FTWRGZRQ1, correct?

Which device is host and which is peripheral? What is your hardware set up and how are you probing your comm lines? It seems like you are seeing the signals correctly, so the driver on the host is initialized properly, but are you not seeing the data on MOSI as you expect?

I need further elaboration to be able to assist you effectively.

    Regards,
    Luke

  • Yes, it's correct. Please reference attached picture CH1:CLK ; CH2:MISO ; CH3:MOSI ; CH4:CS.

Why CH3:MOSI have Random Hi/LO level?  It's OK?  The attached file for SPI (CH1_CLK-CH2_MISO-CH3_MOSI-CH4_CS.png) is all right?

  • Can you please provide me code for the initialization, configuration, and usage of the SPI driver on 6843? I would like to validate your code.

You should not be seeing random values on MOSI, something must be driving it. Is AWR6843AOP the master, or is CC2642R1FTWRGZRQ1? Which device is driving the chip select?

    Kind regards,
    Luke
