Dear TI experts,
We are working on the PCB for a new product based on IWR6432L and want to minimize the inference to the radar signal.
Our intention is to design the radar part as a separated block based on the reference design IWR6432LBoost. We do not have antenna experts available in our team and need your help:
- Can we place components on B?
- Can we place components on the rear? Rear of A or B, or both?
- Can we place components on the top and left of A? Would you suggest those minimum distances?
- Can we reduce the whole antenna area to A? Would you suggest the minimum distance to those components on the right of A?
We also have an alternative option in which radar functions are designed as a standalone module and connected to the main board via a connector. In this case,
- Would you suggest a minimum distance between the module and the main board? Aka the connector height.
- Do we still need to keep clear near to the boundaries of A?
