Hi,experts

1.i download ccs debug image

2.sop in qspi boot mode

3.launch ccs12.1,import ccs projects

4.add loop forever at the begging of main()

5.build the project, succss compile ,sbl_uart_uniflash_awr294x-evm_r5fss0-0_nortos_ti-arm-clang.out is ready,and connect r5f0_0,and load program,the result is that,"no symbols are defined"

so my queston is that:

1.how to debug sbl uart uniflash by ccs project

2.is anything else should be download to flash?

Hi,

1) The modified sbl_uart_uniflash code needs to be flashed onto the device.

2) Once it is flashed, you can connect to CCS and load the symbols (.out file onto the device and begin your debug)

The device needs to be in boot mode.

for step 2,when i connect ccs,should i reset the cpu,or just load symbols without reset;

what boot mode,you mean SOP[2:0] = 001?(qspi mode)

Hi,

1) You can do a soft reset (option provided in CCS) and load the symbols.

2) I mean the SOP [2:0] = 101. [Flashing mode]

if i flash sbl,SOP [2:0] = 101,then if i need debug sbl,SOP [2:0] = 001;is that right?

Hi,

For debug also use SOP [2:0] = 101. Functional mode or SOP 001 will not be useful for debugging uart uniflash code.
