Part Number: IWRL6432

I want to open UART to read some commands from console.

I have already click example.syscfg->POWER->Enable UART Wakeup LPDS, However it no works.(SDK version is 5.2.0.2)

I want to ask how I can open the UART port and read some commands when I set the lowPowerMode to LOW_PWR_MODE_ENABLE?

As this post explains, you cannot receive UART messages during LPDS mode. When you set LOW_PWR_MODE_ENABLE, this makes the devices enter the LPDS state immediately after the device finishes sending it processed data out over UART, meaning there is no spare time to read in commands over UART before the deep sleep state is entered and the UART peripheral is powered down.

You could attempt to modify the powerTask for a custom implementation that meets your requirements.

Could you tell me how to use UART Wake policy?

I find a variable named "enableUARTWakeupLPDS"(power_xwrLx4xx.h)，so I think there should be such a function, but it didn't work when I configured syscfg.

It seems that policyFxn not implement. Please provide an implementation, it's very trivial and inefficiency to use cfg file to change parameters.(first change mode and send cfg parameters......)

Hello,

Please look into the source code of the powerTask. LPDS is a highly configurable mode of operation, meaning that you can select which peripherals are clock gated or powered down to fit your use case. Currently, our demo code provides the example of maximum power saving: completely shutting down all possible peripherals and using a sleep timer as a wakeup trigger.

We are working on developing an FAQ post that will explain how to configure custom LPDS wakeup triggers, but for the time being, you will have to implement this yourself. Again, please look at the powerTask to get started.
