can you suggest any sensor for the given requirement

1. to track the movement of base moves which moves forward and lateral

2.to track the movement of joystick (how much it is deviated from initial position ).

Hello.

This is a very unique use case for the mmWave radar that has not been tested yet. However, you can take a look at the IWR6843 ISK and try using the out of box demo/people counting demo to test how it can measure the angle of the joystick/track the movement of the base. You can also utilize the sensing estimator to configure the chirp to improve the angle and range resolution and improve the ability to determine fine/small motions which I assume is the use case for this machine.
