TDC1000: ultrasonic transducer control

Hello,

I have a question. I am using the TDC1000 in combination with the TDC7200 and I am using ultrasonic transducers which i build myself. For the ultrasonic transducers I need pulses with a very high voltage (35V), significantly higher than the output voltage from the TDC1000. Is there any possibility or component with which I can realise that?

The reference design below uses an amplifier that increases the voltage to 30V.

For TDC1000 + TDC7200, please refer to the FAQ below. We do not recommend using the device under 1MHz, in air applications, or for flow metering. For flow metering, there is an issue where the first stop is missed and can cause error in the ToF affecting flow rate accuracy. We recommend the integrated MSP430FR604x solution for flow metering.

3. TDC1000 device misses the first STOP pulse at times:

1. TDC1000 is known to miss the first STOP pulse generation at times; this can vary the ToF measurements in the range of ps.
2. In case you encounter the above issue, we recommend that you try to use the averaging function in the device and that will increase your accuracy of measurement.
