AWR6843AOP vital signs samples

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AWR6843AOP, MMWAVEICBOOST

Hello,

I have an AWR6843AOP and am trying to use vital signs samples via TI's default samples repository. Since I'm using Linux/Ubuntu, I opened the vitalsign gui with wine.

But it doesn't recognize my ports.  My ports are /dev/ttyUSB0 and /dev/ttyUSB1. But it doesn't accept ports.

I actually found this information. This example is only suitable for windows users. But is there any way to use this example with Linux?

My second question is about mmwaveicboost and awr6843aop relationship. Is mmwaveicboost intended for debugging only? I'm asking this as I know we can do all the examples without mmwaveicboost using awr6843aop.

Any help is welcomed. Thank you.
