Hi,
I have the following questions about the AWR1843BOOST antenna parametres:
Documentation link: https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/spruim4b/spruim4b.pdf?ts=1644964324090&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.ti.com%252Ftool%252FAWR1843BOOST
Thank you,
Ondrej
Hello,
In regards to question #2, it is specified at 78.5GHz which is centered around the 76-81GHz band.
For the raw data, I will need to look into this and see if we have that available to share.
Regards,
Adrian
Hello,
I have not been able to track down this data yet. Our original antenna designer who made this antenna has left TI, so I am not sure if we still have this data. I will keep asking around.
Regards,
Adrian
Hello,
thank you. In the meantime, I extracted the plotted data from User Guide 2.7, Fig. 11, Fig. 12 - in the attachement.
What about the spacing between Tx and Rx antennas?
Regards,
Ondrej
Hello,
For the spacing we had previously mentioned that it is based on 78.5GHz wavelength. To get the exact geometry of the antennas, we do provide the AWR1843BOOST design files. You could do measurements directly in Altium or import the design into some field solver tool.
